When you create a new sequence, SwarShala creates one cell for each beat you defined. However, you can rearrange those cells at wish. Here are some ways to do that.
Select one or more contiguous cells (easiest way is to drag the mouse over a certain number of cells, but you can also select one cell then the ending one with Shift pressed). Then right-click and select Merge Cells option.
Select one or more cells, right-click one and select Split Cells with the number of parts you want to have.
Right-click on the cell before which you want to include cells, then select Insert Cells and the number you wish to add. Just note that your sequence will no longer have an even number of beats, unless of course you insert a full row.
Right-click anywhere and select Append Cells and the number you wish to add. Just note that your sequence will no longer have an even number of beats, unless of course you append a full row.
Right-click on the cells you wish to delete and select Delete Cells, Just note that your sequence will no longer have an even number of beats, unless of course you insert a full row.
You can also adjust the size of a cell by dragging its right border. If a value is selected in the SNAP field above, the resizing will automatically jump to such subdivisions as you drag. To resize without any such limitations, select FREE in the SNAP dropdown.
